There are usually a few cheap pieces of land around your starter farm and those help bring the income in with more crop to sell. I also tend to buy land in the beginning. Grass harvests are pretty complex, but you'll learn all the different pieces of gear to get them into bales and sell them. You learn what you need for potato and sugar beats, and cotton. You get to learn the other systems cause they'll make sure you have everything you need to do the job.

Which is another good point of the job offers.

You will almost always have to rent the gear.

I've turned a 50K+ profit on them before. Those fill up the harvesters and trucks so fast, you end up having to do a lot of work running back and forth to sell, but the payout can be pretty good if you want to take the time. I tend to avoid the potato and sugar beat ones. If any of you fine folk may have a solution I would be most grateful.Few more tips on jobs. I'm on Marwell Manor but had the same problem on Ravensport. In FS17 I had this problem when the Bank of Hagenstaadt mod was enabled and disabling it fixed the problem, but I have nothing like that in my FS19 mod folder (basically every mod enabled is from Giants' modhub). The file I am editing is My Games>FarmingSimulator2019>savegame1>careersavegame.xml>statistics>money. I open the game and choose the savegame I want to play and on the launch screen (where I pick the savegame I want to play) it shows 20,000 pounds/euros/dollars i.e the figure I had changed, but when I actually get in to the game the XML change has been ignored and I have exactly the same as before I edited the XML file, i.e 15,000 pounds/euros/dollars.

But for this example lets say I had 15,000 pounds/dollars/euros and I edited the savegame.xml file to give me 20,0000 pounds/euros/dollars. I have twice now tried to edit my money in the FS19 XML files (once to reduce and on a different savegame once to increase).
